I could say that I was experimenting with the daisy stitch pattern and came across this interesting variation of my A Handsomely Tweedy Hat pattern. But that would be lying. The truth is I forgot which row I was on and repeated myself. The results are good though.
For best results use a really Earthy, tweedy yarn. Otherwise, stick with the original design.
